The HDR looks quite unrealistic at some times; but for example, the "realtime like no other" tech demo looks very realistic.
The engine could still use a lot of tweaking: I can see graphics that are pretty much the same in other games with twice the performance: although the engine still provides a lot of advantages compared to other ones (for example, the more "artist-aimed" WYSIWYG level editor)

Crysis is awesome, I love it. My computer is crappy though so I play with the lowest graphics possible and an 800 x 600 resolution. But I still love it. 
I can't believe all the whining about how crysis just has good graphics but no gameplay, that is entirely false, I play for the gameplay.
